Sobering thoughts on a dysfunctional relationship: Do we really want Christ for who He is?

When Christ returns, everything will be done. Those who put off becoming molded into His image, those who said to themselves, let me indulge for now, I'll be automatically good when all things are made new anyway, let me get away with the sin of the flesh, the sin of the mind, and the sin of the spirit.. nowhere in Scripture does it say this is the case. Even the last ending Words of the Bible only reiterate and sums up what it has been stating throughout the book from the beginning, for our own good. We must choose to obey now. We must allow Christ in our lives, now. How can we invite His holy presence when our hearts and minds say I will do the opposite of your laws and precepts? How can He possibly dwell with us when we reject everything that He is? What kind of dysfunctional relationship is this anyway?

Our disobedience and consistent choosing of the devil's way essentially becomes a disinvitation. Let us not be surprised when we find out we were never a part of His household while we have this dual minded mentality. --Is it Christ? Or not?

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭22:11‭-‬15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

[11] He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. [12] And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. [13] I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

[14] Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. [15] For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
